Hunan Chinese Restaurant in Princeton

I've lived in the Princeton area for a long time and I've eaten at many different restaurants. Although I can afford to eat at the expensive places, Hunan Chinese restaurant on Witherspoon is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food is delicious, it's incredibly inexpensive, and the people are always courteous. Also there's never a crowd. Highly recommended !

I visit this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I love how the customer service is always awesome and they keep the place well kept regularly. Pricing is reasonable and they serve generous portions.

Menu on google maps is not the one used at the store; we called to order crab rangoons and they said, "we don't have those." Restaurant takes cash only. Woman on phone was difficult to understand. Food didn't match order (possibly because of menu confusion), but was tasty. Short wait (15 min) after ordering.

Our favorite spot to frequent for lunch. In love with all their food items. Kid friendly. A nice place to relax and know your in good hands for a good meal.

I have been a patron here for 4years. Server and owners are really nice. Food is cheap and very good. We love ordering sesame beef and crispy calamari.

The website for this listing is incorrect. Do not order online! The website is for a different restaurant. This location only accepts cash. We didn't eat the food, so I couldn't comment on it.

I prefer this restaurant very much. theres a great spirit. The kitcen is marvelous. the service is powerful and the crew is polite. The cost is fair. profoundly recommend.

Excellent food. Great value for money. Would 100% recommend. The mongolian beef is my personal favorite. The lunch deals are good for a quick takeaway too.

Confused it with the other Hunun chinese restaurant. Figured they would taste the same but wow they couldn’t take any more different. My sesame chicken was chalky because they put way to much peanut oil in it. My fried rice was super dry, and chicken lo mein tasted like beef. I wish I could get my money back.

Very good. Had not been back in 9 years. Good food still. I like the mango tofu. Friendly staff.

Absolutely wonderful! My family and I were traveling and we pulled in for lunch. Super friendly staff, amazing, quality food, and a very clean place. Would love to come back again.

Had two different food.1. General Tso Chicken2. Sweet and Sour ChickenBoth of them are very simple food to prepare and make. They either forgot to make my lunch to go, or the chicken was more of fried flour than chicken. I am not going there any more. does not worth my time to go pick up the food and money to spend.

Ok take out food for the area. Not too much to compare with in the area. Watch out for the peanut butter in the egg foo young sauce if u have an allergy.

Definitely not a good place to eat. Visited today, after seated, I very clearly mentioned smaller size for both my and my friend’s orders, but on the final bill, I was charged larger size on both orders. Also the tax rate is 12.85%!! So absolutely NO tips with that crazy sales tax. And I will never come back.

It was fine but nothing to write home about

I came in looking for a culinary adventure and I was not disappointed. I ordered the pork, chicken and shrimp dish (trying something new) but my server saw into my heart and brought a seafood platter to my surprise and delight! The Hunan sauce was spicy and delicious and paired perfectly with my diet Coke. Then we discovered we could only pay in cash! I fully support cash only transactions (a business policy I have with my associates as well.) 3/5 will pay cash to be surprised again.
